305 sprint car team racing in Central PA. I have been around sprint cars my entire life, and there is no job on the team that I do not personally take charge and make sure is done to is fullest ability. Been racing 305′s for going on 5 years, with some top 5′s and many top 10′s. Worked on 410 sprint cars for 7 years prior and have gained countless amounts of knowledge from that and have over 10 wins as a mechanic. In go-karts I have 76 wins and 4 championships in a 7 year span. Beyond that my dad, who is the mechanic, has worked on sprint cars since 1971 and has won 100s of races as a mechanic with drivers like Keith Kauffman, Dave Blaney, Jim Nace, Kenny Jacobs, and Jac Haudenschild.

The past few years he has raced in and around Ohio including the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg Ohio. He raced with the Allstar Latemodels in 2011 and Finished 7th in the final point standings.

I am 23 years old and just got started last year in the 600 Micro Sprint. I have been a life long fan of open wheel dirt track racing. My first racing experience was in a go kart when I was 15. Since then I have been a crew member on a 360 sprint car and an avid fan of sprint car racing. We had some success in our first year, we made the A feature of every race we entered and had 4 top 10 and 1 top 5 feature finishes. We are looking forward to the 2012 season and are updating and improving our equipment for this year. We plan to run the JayHusker series this season as well as some special events at Eagle Raceway and also try out some tracks in Iowa. I am looking to be even more competitive this season and can ‘t wait to see you at the track.

We are a local racing team with vast capabilities, patented pending suspension technology, and the ability to build our own race cars in house make MWR the Formula 1 team of Midget racing, we are proving to be race winners. With over 15 years of experience in open wheel racing, working and driving for top teams. MWR Technology Team consists of three national midget car team as well as one Eco-Tech IRS sportsman. This will be our third season running our custom made Lightning Chassis. This year we will be running with STARS out at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois. As well as running Rumble Racing Series at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With a very successful 2011 season MWR Technology is looking to expand their program for 2012 to three race cars. 2011 wrapped up with a 4th and 6th in points MWR Technology (MWR) is looking for more marketing partners for the 2012 Short Track Racing Series (STARS) run for the championship. Second in owner and car points 2010 UMARA. Fourth in owner and car points 2010 Keynon. Sixth in owner and car points 2011 STARS.

Well, We have been racing for years at many small Southern short track Speedways in several different Divisions. Started out running in the Hogs/Renegades which is about the most extreme short track series out there!! No caution flags with some of the most inexperienced and crazy race car drivers out there!! This is where I learned to handle a race car while getting beaten up and bounced off of!! LoL! Now when in a real race car I can handle most any situation dealt out to me! I moved up to the Sportsman series which some tracks call Limited Late models. Myself & crew have had much success in this Division even winning back to back Triple World Classic series Champions at 3 separate short tracks 3 years in a row.. Have won 47 renegade races and 23 Sportsman race at 4 separate tracks over the years. We have always driven cars with a theme such as the “01″ general lee & the “95″ Lightning McQueen themed cars. I really enjoy talking to all the fans and have the children takes pics with the cars we have built. Just watching their expressions is as exciting as winning the race!

I started racing in 1994 at the local drag strip and won quite a bit of races but in 2000 I made my way into Stock Car Racing at Montgomery Motor Speedway and other surrounding area tracks. We have consistently finished near or in the top 5 in points for the last 10 years, this past season we finished 4th overall in the standings and just missed on a couple wins. We are expecting the 2012 Season to be our best year yet!

Some people say that racing is in your blood. This is a true statement for J.R. McGinley. J.R’s grandfather, Johnny McGinley was one of the big names of western PA racing in the 1950′s. Johnny McGinley finished among the top ten drivers in NASCAR in 1951, 1952 and 1953. On the other side of the family, J.R.’s grandfather Dick Rankin, won feature events over five decades, in the 60′s, 70′s,80′s, 90′s and in 2000. Ironically, Rankin’s Car number matched the number of feature wins at 66.Also J.R.’s uncle Craig is also a retired sprint car driver. After Craig was injured in a crash in 1987, Dick Rankin spent some time driving in his son’s car to help Craig gain enough points to win the title at Lernerville Speedway.

The new millennium marked the end of an era in western Pennsylvania when Dick Rankin retired as an active driver. His track championships started back in 1971, when he took the semi-late honors at hummingbird Speedway. Dick got his big break in 1977, when he slid behind the wheel of the # 0 modified owned by Bob Kodiak Graham. In 1987, he began to campaign his own modified car. He ranks second in the all time modified wins at Sportsmans Speedway with 33 wins. Rankin’s best season in the modified class was 1995, when he copped 12 feature wins and won the cavalcade PointChampionship.

At three years old J.R.’s granddad put him on a suzuki-JR50 with training wheels. He then raced a DS-80 until age eleven. From 1990 to 1994, J.R. got into go-kart racing where he won championships at Blanket Hill and Slippery Rock Speedway.

At eighteen years old J.R. graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School, where he was involved in football, basketball and track. He moved from go-karts into V-8 Modified for three races in his granddads # 66 V-8 Modified. The following year he added six more races to finish in the top ten his rookie year.

After graduation J.R. went to triangle Tech to be an electrician. In 1999 and 2000 JR raced at Sportsmans Speedway in Knox, Mercer Speedway in mercer, Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, and Tri-City Speedway of Franklin, on a regular basis. Other tracks that J.R. has experienced include: Raceway 7, Marion Center, Eriez, Stateline, Challenger, Sharon Speedway, Clearfield Speedway, Little Valley NY, Thunder Mountain, and Expo Speedway.

My name is John Reuter. I am an eighteen year old dirt track micro sprint racer with aspirations of someday making it to the USAC or World of Outlaws national touring series.

I try to be outgoing at the track and speak to as many people as I can, whether it be fans or fellow racers.

I race micro sprints mainly at Airport Speedway in the 250-cc stock class. I am also planning to add a 270-cc open motor to my collection and race the big marquee end of season events at Trail Way Speedway, Linda’s Speedway, Bridgeport Speedway, and the labor day event at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. This all depends on if the extra funding is available.

I’m Mike, the 19 year old driver of the #35 sprint car. This year I will be racing in the 410 sprint car division at various tracks. Last year was my rookie season and I raced in the 305 Outlaw Sprint Warrior Division at Mercer Raceway Park & Lernerville Speedway. I had 9 top 5s and 2 wins in just 16 races. My racing career began in a go-kart when I was eight years old. I won numerous karting championships including a state championship. When I’m not working on the sprint car, I am studying to be a mechanical engineer. I am currently a double major in Mathematics and Physics at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I plan to earn a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and pursue a career in this field.

I enjoy and have participated in various forms of racing including go-karting, motocross, hare scrambles, and sprint car racing.
